‘Buzz Day’ is Diabetes Australia’s annual merchandise fundraising campaign. The event involves the sale merchandise throughout September at supporting retail outlets, culminating in our signature day ‘Buzz Day’ on Friday 19th September 2008, where Diabetes Australia will beat the diabetes drum across the country.
This year is the 8th Buzz Day campaign and Diabetes Australia is aiming to raise over $400,000 with all the proceeds going towards diabetes Awareness, Research, Education and Advocacy programs however, the only way we can raise these funds is through public support.
We need your help in finding a cure for diabetes so in September, make sure you buy a bee and help take the sting out of diabetes!
You can get involved by helping to sell a box of merchandise, or purchasing a product on Friday 19th September. Together we will work towards hitting the 2008 fundraising target of $400,000! The merchandise on offer this year includes stylish flashing pens, smart torch key rings, magnetic badges and our cute 'Buzz Bees' - all available within an affordable price range of $3 - $6.
This year Toll Priority, our national courier sponsors are again on board to help the fight against diabetes. Without the help of Toll Priority, Buzz Day wouldn’t be where it is today!
